Every August Bank Holiday I look forward to the annual dance music festival Creamfields, held on the fields near Daresbury, Cheshire in northwest England.

This year was my sixth year at the festival, fifth in a row and the best so far. The gorgeous late summer weather had something to do with it, but of course the huge dance DJs the performed also had a massive part to play.

My husband and I decided to drive to and from the festival both days, in a break from our normal tradition of camping in a soggy field.

The line up never fails to disappoint and this year was no exception, with Steve Angello playing twice, Sebastian Ingrosso, Nicky Romero, Knife Party, Tiesto and David Guetta.

We had a fantastic weekend together enjoying music we love, without the need for drugs or alcohol. It’s great to just be together in a place we love.

So, this year I have been to 4 festivals, 3 of them dance music festivals and I guess that will be it for the remainder of the year.
